Isn't it a classic example of muslim nationhood across the globe... Some day, if some gentleman wish to make film on what happened to Kasmiri pandits, it'll surely be branded as anti muslims... you can make films on gujrat riots, but not on matters showing the other side of islam...is it secularism???

Muslims or others have no right to demand anything from Kamalhasan. He has produced a film based on his opinion about the American initiated war on terror. Kamal probably agrees with the American motives and world views We do not know Kamals train of thoughts on the conflict and his conclusions in depicting American side as absolutely right and the Taliban side as absolutely wrong. The objective thinkers know one thing for sure that is both Americans and Al-Qaeda are wrong in killing the unarmed innocent civilians throughout the world People like me think that the bigger wrong is on America: a huge civilized nation of intellectuals compared to the uncivilized and uneducated tribal Afghan fighters who have been condemned by all the world renowned Muslim scholars and huge Islam based universities like Al-Azhar and Diyoband in india. The most important issue here is addressing the root cause of the conflict. Al-Qaeda%u2019s leaders were the best friends of America in the 1980s when

A movie in Tamil has been produced by a Sinhalese film producer. Imagine the name is Defeat of Tamil Nazism concentrates on one side that is the Sri Lankan army successfully defeating the Tamil Tigers as Kamal concentrates on one side that is Americans successfully killing the Taliban terrorism by their superior terrorist fire power. Tell me honestly what will be the reaction of the 7 crore Tamils. Will we welcome the movie in TN theatres saying that it is freedom of expression. Tel me why the double standard. Why the lies why the hypocrisy, why the praising the Americans in kamals film, why one side, any private axe to grind? Any secret deals for future ventures? Too many unanswered question. Looking at the surface Indian Muslims are trouble makers and people in RSS, Bajrang Dal and Shev Sena are angels.

Millions of Hindus don;t support the gunda raj organizations like RSS and Shiv Sena. We are educated, civillized and we know what to watch in a film and how to interpret it. We don;t want the censor boards, the courts or the goonda organizations of Hindus or Muslims to decide for us. Enough is enough.
By: Gundu Rao | Wednesday , 30 Jan '13 13:15:29 PM Reply | Forward Actor/Director Kamal Haasan is a versatile personality, who has presented the moods of generation from time to time through his magnificent movie themes and his own characater roles. The people of India want him, for, he is loved, liked and appreciated for the versatile roles he presented to the Indian community. Alas, our dirty politicians, make profits at every juncture of public debate and gain consolidation in the name of secularism, which is really absent anywhere and everywhere. Atleast, people have faith in Indian judiciary, which alone can solve the nation's ills, unfrtunately, nursed by our politicians. GRao

Is it because of the fact that he is also a Muslim. Indian Government should come out strongly against such vested Muslims, who resort to all sorts of silly protests without understanding their religion properly.
